Experimental study on percolation mechanism and displacement characteristics of cold recovery in offshore heavy oil field

Abstract The heavy oil reservoir is a special kind of and gas that differs from the conventional in many ways. Due to high viscosity crude oil, it not easy recover. When underground exceeds 150 cp, land field generally developed by thermal recovery. S.Z. oilfield Bohai Sea, with surface 3000–25,000 cp 400–1000 cp. Limited offshore equipment, development strategy oilfields can't be directly applied. High production capacity obtained through cold horizontal branch experimental wells, water drive can reach 40–70 m 3 /day. At present, there lack research on recovery under oil. existing primary common knowledge are challenging support efficient technology for effectively producing reservoirs. In this paper, physical simulation experiments, phase behavior rheological properties target block studied, clarified. Then, depletion flooding experiments carried out, displacement characteristics laws analyzed. Finally, indoor sweep efficiency out. Clear its micro macro spread. It provides technical effective fields.
